The name Nakayoshi means "Friendship" in Japanese.
This name has been chosen by our family to embody our concept of a family restaurant. Relatives, close friends, colleagues are the first customers of Nakayoshi Japanese Restaurant.

Nakayoshi opened first in February 1999. The place is an extension of our family house located in Jl. Cipaku - 2/16 Kebayoran Baru, Southern Jakarta. It can welcome up to 28 guests.

The aim and concept of this restaurant is to share the pleasure of our Japanese style home cooking. As you would do for a delicious home cooked meal, we maximize the use of nice and fresh food purchased from the best Japanese supermarkets in Jakarta. Contrary to fast foods which serve already made food, in Nakayoshi, we prepare each meal when you order it. Despite all this care and attention we always try to give you the best food at a reasonable and affordable price, so all visitors can enjoy our cooking.

Our menu offers some unique and home made specialties that can only be found in our restaurant. "Eating" and enjoying good food is our hobby.. With a strong heritage of our Japanese culture and a touch of international influence, we created what we call Japanese fusion cuisine.

As an example, the beef roll katsu is prepared with cheese and apples, beef ketchupyaki with garlic and slices of chili, gindara foilyaki is cooked with spring onions and baked in an aluminum foil...

Besides these home specialties, Nakayoshi also offers the original and traditional Japanese everyday life meals: Tempura udon, Yakisoba, Unagi, Sukiyaki, Teriyaki, Katsudon... and many others. We offer different menu sets with different compositions and prices.

We decorated our Nakayoshi restaurant with simplicity and balance to create a Zen atmosphere. Ikebana (Japanese art of flower arrangement) prepared by Djufriah Shindo Muchsin (our beloved mother) add harmony to the decoration.

Nakayoshi is open every day starting 11 AM until 9 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
